Yasaman Babamohammadi, M.S., RMHCI

Eating Disorders and OCD Specialist

I specialize in working with anxiety and depression, while also providing support for a wide range of issues, including addictions, ADHD, parenting challenges, trauma, behavioral issues, and relationship difficulties. I am particularly passionate about helping women who are experiencing trauma and body image issues, offering compassionate care to support their healing journey.

My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), along with insights from Adlerian Therapy and family systems. I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lynn University and am a licensed mental health counselor intern in Florida. As a registered intern, I aim to create a warm, supportive space where you can explore your emotions and experiences with care and understanding.

With a background in community mental health and inpatient substance
abuse treatment, I now focus on helping clients find strength and create meaningful change in their lives.

For Farsi-speaking clients, I provide culturally sensitive support by supplementing sessions with Farsi, while primarily conducting therapy in English.

Outside of work, I love traveling, practicing yoga, and spending time outdoors. My services are LGBTQ+ inclusive. To schedule a FREE 30-minute phone consult, feel free to reach out at (561) 570-6286 or email me at yasi@homeforbalance.com. I look forward to connecting with you!
