Pride Moth at Home For Balance

Blog post written by,

Carolina Gaviria, LMHC, NCC, CEDS

We are excited to come together and support the uplifting of the LGBTQ+ community and stand in support of dignity, equality, and increased visibility of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people, as we celebrate Pride Month. We stand by inclusion and affirmation with other people and organizations who are coming together in love and friendship to recognize how far LGBTQ+ rights have come. We also recognize there is still work to be done to guarantee that everyone is able to express their gender and sexuality with freedom and safety and we believe that together we can make this happen. DaShanne Stokes said, “Only by speaking out can we create lasting change. And that change begins with coming out.” We dream with a world where there are no limitations to who you are and who you love! We want to share with you our list of favorite LGBTQ+ resources. Please know that you are not alone!
