ADD/ADHD
LEARN WAYS TO GET FOCUSED AND ORGANIZED!
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a disorder that causes children, teens, and adults to struggle with their ability to pay attention and stay on task. They tend to be also extremely active, disorganized, and act impulsively which can lead to negative consequences and frustration in others.
ADHD tends to affect children behaviorally, academically, and socially which tends to affect their self-esteem and self-confidence. They struggle following instructions, keeping up with daily activities, such as sitting still, focusing, waiting their turn and staying on task.

Although ADHD presents many challenges for kids and teens, at Home For Balance, LLC we believe that through learning effective tools to deal with those challenges, they can increase their motivation and self-confidence which helps them have better self-esteem and take responsibility to use effective organizational skills learned in therapy and increase positive interactions as they learn to read others’ social cues and be patient.

Individuals who struggle with ADHD are often creative, emotionally sensitive, and social which offers opportunities to succeed in many areas if they are given the right help and tools.
